Last week (Aug 18,19,20) the Kombat Arts Boxing team made a trip to Kansas City to participate in one of the largest international amateur boxing tournaments in the world, the Ringside World Championship. 1,500 plus fighters over 3 day tournament.
Five fighters participated and here are the results:
- Mohammed Abedeen – 1st place Belt- Open Class
- Kareem Hackett – 1st place Belt – Novice
- Mehdi Abidi – 1st place Belt – Novice
- Lex Bates – 2nd place Medal – Open Class
- Ricky Stagg – 2nd place Medal – Novice
All the fighters stepped it up and took on the best competition from all over the world.
